The First Greater China Award Ceremony - 26 Feb 2010 at Inno Center, Hong Kong
What an exciting evening to see so many talented and passionate illustrators from Hong Kong, China, Macau and Taiwan gathered together at the First Greater China Illustration Award. It is such a great honor for me to receive this award and being recognized!

Kalo Make Art Calendar 2010
My first Kalo Make Art calendar has arrived! It is the first calendar I created for the new year 2010 but also a mini retrospective of the artwork I created in 2009.
Kalo Make Love
I am rather into cutting these days. Thanks to the Christmas present (book) I received a few months ago. I have been cutting animals with colour papers and creating greeting cards.
Honorable Mention - The First Greater China Illustration Award
On the last day of January, I received an email from the Hong Kong Productivity Council - congratulating me for receiving an Honorable Mention for the First Greater China Illustration Award. What an exciting news! This was the first illustration competition I submitted my elephant illustrations "Is the Banana Always Yellower?" I am delighted to see my illustrations 'survived' through three rounds of judging. Most importantly, Yuko Shimizhu was one of the judges for the last panel! Yuko has been a great inspiration to me and I would never forget her teachings.
