Here are some artwork done by my students in Singapore this week.
We were making Chinese New Year greeting cards, aboriginal arts and painting like an Impressionist! Teaching does put a big smile on my face.

Coco On Cavas
May I introduce COCO, the Canadoodle dog. Yes Canadoodle, not CanNoodle.
She loves you to play hide and seek with her toy (you hide the toy, she goes find it)
It is a life saver game sometimes when I want some peace to do more design work.
Unfortunately, she didn't come to Asia with me. So before I left London, I designed and screen printed a tote bag with her silhouette and her name (disguise by the Coco Chanel sign) on it. It is a great bag for dog walking, it holds a lot of Coco's toys.

Amazing painting done by Kalo's student
I have been teaching arts to this little girl (age 11) since December last year. We had about 6 classes so far and today is the first time, she did her first painting! I was teaching her how to paint like the Impressionist Masters and LOOK ! Her painting is amazing! I feel really proud.
Our subject matter - lovely flowers, some tiny onions and a fake bird!
Believe me, she is 11 years old only, just that she is rather tall!
Meryl's first finished painting
Um... this is mine ....

My illustration turned into a pattern. My pattern turned into a shoe box.
Seeing the final product is just an amazing feeling :)!

Coffee Shop in Singapore
I woke up really early today at 5:30 in the morning to do a bridal make up in the East side of Singapore. After that I went to a lovely coffee shop in Tiong Bahru to relax and to recover!
This cafe I found is called Orange Thimble. It has a lovely setting, with lots of individual rooms and a back yard filled with sunshine. I ordered a latte and an English roll and sat there on my own for like 3 hours? It is somewhere you can chill out for the whole day and not worry you will be kicked out! Plus, the staff has a great sense of humor too.
